The Sparks Fire Department is hosting its 2nd Annual Project SAFE Golf Fundraiser on July 30 at D’Andrea Golf Course. The fundraiser is held to obtain funds for the purchase of life-saving smoke alarms and fire safety paraphernalia for eligible older homes in the City of Sparks. Through the funding of a Federal Grant and last year’s Golf Fundraiser, we were able to purchase and install 921 smoke alarms in 345 eligible homes in 2010. We are making every effort to continue this program until we have installed new smoke alarms in all Sparks homes older than 1994.

At $95 per person or $350 per foursome, the price is right and it will be the most enjoyable golf tournament you will play in all year. Entry fee includes green fees, cart, range balls, T-gift bag, team photo, dinner, and hole prizes. A raffle, silent auction, and awards will follow the tournament. If you sign up before July 1st, you will receive an additional 5% off. For more information call 353-2261or e-mail bking@cityofsparks.us. Entry form
