District 5 is our newest district.  The east is bordered by BLM lands and the north is bordered by Truckee Meadows Fire Protection District.  The district includes 2-18 hole golf courses, large and growing residential developments, Golden Eagle Regional Park which currently is the largest artifical turf sports facility in the world.  Sparks Fire has an automatic aid agreement withTruckee Meadows Fire Protection District which contracts with Reno Fire Department to provide services north of District 5.
