Alf Sorensen Community Center was built in 1982 and is located adjacent to Reed High School on Baring Boulevard. The center was named after the late Alfred Sorensen, a local athlete. The grounds that surround this facility are used as a park setting for children attending the Sparks Parks and Recreation Department's Youth Watch programs. The community center features a gymnasium, fitness center, a swimming pool and tot pool. |
