Maldonado Park was constructed in 1997 and is located on the east side of Sparks, directly behind an elementary school. It was named after Priscilla Maldonado, a former City of Sparks Parks and Recreation Commissioner for many years.It is primarily used by the students of the school and neighborhood walkers and joggers. The park sits on a vista and overlooks the entire city. |
