The City of Sparks has nearly twenty master-planned communities which will accomodate the growth from the current population of approximately 66,000 to a projected build-out of 120,000 in the year 2020.

 

The family-oriented nature of Sparks is represented in the wide range of housing opportunities in these new developments. Redevelopment plans for the downtown area include transit-oriented, higher density housing to support Victorian Square with employees and customers.
