Sparks, NV- There's still time to register for the City of Sparks' Deep Freeze Softball League. Teams can register through Dec. 29 at the Larry D. Johnson Community Center, 1200 12th St. The facility is open from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Thursday. The cost per team is $400. Players must be 18 years of age.

The 8-week season will take place on Wednesday evenings, Jan. 11 - Feb. 29 at the Sports Complex at Golden Eagle Regional Park. Individual shirts will be awarded to first place in each division, along with the coveted Ice Cube Trophy.
