The City of Sparks aquatic programs provide opportunities for fitness, skill development, rehabilitation and recreational fun. A variety of classes take place year-round at the Alf Sorensen Community Center. During the summer months, swim lessons are also conducted at the outdoor pool at Deer Park, 1700 Prater Way.

Recreational swimming is available at Alf Sorensen pool, Deer Park pool and in the designated swim area at the Sparks Marina, 300 Howard Dr.

Please note: Oppio Park pool will be closed for the summer (2011).
