**Please Read*** We need two minutes of your time to take an online survey and provide your opinion about special events in our area. Respondents must be 18 years or older and only one survey per person may be submitted. Read below for additional details.
As the City of Reno, the City of Sparks and the Reno-Sparks Convention & Visitors Authority look toward the future, events will continue to have a valuable role. More than just fun, events elevate our quality of life, generate economic impact, create development opportunities and attract visitors to our region. The goal of this survey is to understand what residents think about events so that existing events might be enhanced, fledgling events can grow to be successful and potential new events can be solicited. The results of this survey will be shared with regional event producers and City officials.
Individual responses will remain anonymous and results will be used as an aggregate only. As a special thanks, all completed surveys will be placed in a drawing to win the following prizes:
-- VIP Rib Village tickets for TWO at the 2016 Best in the West Nugget Rib Cook-Off
-- Balloon Ride for ONE at the 2016 Great Reno Balloon Race
-- Pit Passes and General Admission tickets for TWO at the 2016 National Championship Air Races
It’s happening here is a name that Sparks lives up to by offering some of the best special events in the Reno-Tahoe region. From spectacular fireworks displays at Star Spangled Sparks to tantalizing ribs at the Best in the West Nugget Rib Cook-Off or classic hot rod cars at Hot August Nights, events are happening all year long in Sparks. The US Open of Watercross kicks off the spring and family-friendly events continue to fill the calendar with the likes of the Sparks Food Truck Drive-In and Pumpkin Palooza, making for great fun throughout the summer.
